The 4th annual Silver Mile Health & Fitness Fair, Donna & Dr. Jerry
Thacker Run/Walk for Education (a 5K – 1Mile run and 1 Mile Fun Walk), Family
Fitness Expo, Silent Auction, and P-H-M Talent Showcase was a huge success!
The
Silver Mile exceeded last year's attendance and engaged
thousands of students, their families, and community members in
a multi-faceted, family-friendly health and fitness event. Of the 1,172 participants, many were
students participating in the 5K or 1Mile for the second year of this
race.
In addition, thousands participated in the hands-on, interactive health and fitness activities offered by presenting sponsor Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Each year the Silver Mile just gets bigger and better! Thanks to the hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, and community members for making the event such a success! Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 8, 2010, to attend next year's Donna & Dr. Jerry Thacker 5K Run/Walk for Education, and join us for the Silver Mile Health & Fitness Fair and Family Expo at Penn High School.
