Holiday Thank-a-Teacher Success!
Congratulations
to the 177 P-H-M teachers, administrators, and/or staff
who were recognized by P-H-M parents through a
contribution to the P-H-M Educational Foundation's
Holiday Thank-a-Teacher program! With some of the
individuals receiving multiple recognitions, a total
of 242 donations were made totaling $3,615. These
donations will be used to fund teacher grants this
spring. Each individual recognized was sent a card with
the name of who had recognized them, a recognition pin,
and a personal note from the donor.

Jane Wright has been involved with P-H-M schools
beginning as a Walt Disney Elementary Kindergarten teacher
for 5 years, school board member for 8 1/2 years (president
for 2 of those years), and serving as an outstanding
volunteer. Her extensive volunteering for P-H-M includes;
Chairman for the Drug Free P-H-M Lock-in for 4 years,
creator of the Volunteer Coordinator position at Penn High
School, Penn Carnival chairman for 3 years, and room mother
for 10 years.She is an active member of Junior League and has been for 28 years. During this time she's been named Active and Sustainer of the year. Jane has also been awarded the MaryLou Schwartz Award for Fundraising. She has served on the boards of the Snite Museum, Indiana Historical Society, Studebaker National Museum, and the Michiana Arts & Science. Jane has also served as the President of the board of the American Heart Association of St. Joe County.
Jane served on the P-H-M Educational Foundation's Board of Directors for 6 years. During that time she was the Annual Drive chair and Silver Mile chair for 2 years. As co-creator of the Silver Mile, Jane work tirelessly to grow the community-wide health event into what it is today. Her leadership style and positive "can do" attitude is act like a magnet to get everyone excited to help. She truly has been a CORNERSTONE in making the Foundation what it is today as she is a truly amazing person and leader. Thank you, Jane!
