young authors conference

March 2nd, 2024
lOCATION: Penn high school
Start time: 9:15 a.m.
This year P-H-M Education Foundation’s Young Authors’ Conference is partnering with the Next Gen Robotics event to bring you Books & Bots on Saturday, March 2, 2024! This event blends literary innovations with robotic creations.

Young Authors’ Conference

As a part of the morning activities, students will participate in two rotations: one with well-known children’s author and speaker, Carolyn Crimi; and the other with Jocelyn Dupuis.
Following these rotations, students will enjoy spending time exploring technology, with an opportunity to share a piece of their writing on FlipGrid or another online writing platform.  (Writing samples are not a requirement to participate in the morning activities, however.)

In addition to participating in the two rotations, families can help spread a love of literacy by donating gently used books to the Better World Books box, located near Penn’s Door D on March 2nd.  Although the event is free, registration is required.

Next Gen Day (Robotics Event)
