P-H-M Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting our teachers and students through innovative classroom grants. We are proud
to provide funds for programs that fall outside the district's budget.
The P-H-M Education Foundation has been closely monitoring the coronavirus pandemic and paying specific attention to guidelines on easing social distancing. Our Executive Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our fundraisers Casino Night and Silver Mile Run for Education.
We are extremely disappointed, however we feel that the risk is too great to continue with the fundraisers, which was scheduled to host 200 and 1,500 people, respectively. The ongoing concern for large gatherings has caused difficulty in rescheduling the events for the upcoming months.
We understand this news may be difficult for you, but we hope you understand our concern for the health and safety of our event attendees. We look forward to our upcoming 2020-21 events such as the Superintendent's Luncheon in October, Annual Drive, and our 25th Anniversary Gala in April 2021. Your continued support allows us to fulfill our mission - supporting excellence in education.
The P-H-M Education Foundation is working in tandem with the P-H-M school corporation and adheres to its guidelines. At Indiana governor's direction, classes will not resume this academic year. Because of this, Running is Elementary has been canceled and the Foundation has suspended our Spring Grant Cycle and the Jeneane Arter Teaching in Excellence Award. We are coordinating with Penn High School in administering scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
