The mission of the Endowment Fund of the
PHM Educational Foundation is to ensure in perpetuity a stable
funding source to support enhancement and enrichment
opportunities for all students in Penn-Harris-Madison School
Corporation. On September 28, 2001, the Foundation established an Endowment Fund. Once monies are donated to the Endowment Fund they must remain in that fund as a permanent investment which will generate perpetual earnings for the organization. The board continues their commitment of building the endowment to generate funds for teachers and administrators to benefit students. In March 2007, PHMEF board members elected to invest in a special P-H-M Educational Foundation Endowment Fund managed by Community Foundation of St. Joseph
County. The funds invested in the Community Foundation are
invested forever. Rose Meissner, president of the Community
Foundation stated that, Each year, as a candle throws off
light, these funds throw off support for our community. Each
year that support represents a little spark of the spirit of
love and concern that created it. And that light continues to
burn long after the people who established the funds are gone.Click on The Donate Now button to make a secure on-line donation to the P-H-M Educational Foundation Endowment Fund and fund the present and future. or click on the downloadable form and mail check to: PHM Educational Foundation 55900 Bittersweet Road Mishawaka, IN 46545 |
