The
Silver Mile Run for Education is a 5K Run or 1-Mile
Walk around the neighborhoods of Penn High School for a nominal
registration fee, which includes a t-shirt. It starts and ends
at Freed Field. In addition, a huge health fair with free
screenings, including activities, a student talent showcase,
silent auction and vendor booths are set up for community
members and friends to enjoy.
Funds raised benefit the P-H-M
Educational Foundation. Our 6th annual Silver Mile Run for
Education is on Saturday, May 7, 2011.
Annual Giving Campaign “Be
a Friend of P-H-M” and pledge a gift of $100, $200, $500, $1,000
or more for five years. Or, make a one time d onation $25 or
more.
Each year, the Foundation awards classroom grants to teachers
making grant requests.

The next time you need to renew your license plate,
please consider purchasing an
Education plate! Some of the
proceeds
will support the P-H-M Educational Foundation's
work.
When you receive your vehicle registration, ask for the license
plate with Garfield that reads “Committed to Education.” Your $40
contribution shows your personal commitment to education; $18.75
goes directly to the school corporation or public education foundation
of your choice, $6.25 goes to the Indiana School Counselor's Association
and $15 covers plate administrative costs. Download the
Garfield plate order form. Enter Penn-Harris-Madison Educational
Foundation to receive the benefits of your "Education Plate."
